A refined metals factory is a production building that produces refined metals from stone. Five stone are required to make a refined metal.
Refined metals are used for many buildings, such as the spacious house or Computer Chip factory.
They appear to drop a stone into lava and have it come out as refined metals. They also look superficially like factory pubs(which also produce refined metals, but at night) and Experimentation Labs.
