The Experimentation Lab is a production building for Knowledge. It can be used as a late-game replacement for Labs. They take 2 workers to operate. They produce ~18 knowledge a day, using 3 machine parts. This rises to ~20 knowledge with 2 machine parts when upgraded.
Experimentation Labs can also boost Refined Metal Factories that are above or below them. However they don't have Tree Growth Gas or Genetic Crop Engineering, which makes Labs still an economical choice late game.
